Even better than expected, and it turns out all the amazing reviews are not fake. I wish we could give 10 out of 5 stars. Early on we were deciding between LBVR and Camp Lucy, and I'm so happy with our decision.
It was so special to have the entire ranch to ourselves for the weekend. One of the biggest deciding factors was that we could turn our wedding into a weekend immersion, and LBV the perfect venue for that.
We were really got to connect with an have a lot more quality time with people, mainly those staying on site.
Other highlights:
- Carrol, the owner, was super hospitable, kind and wanted to give us the best experience possible.
- Chapel is absolutely gorgeous.
- The venue is super spacious
- The homestead was perfect for friday rehearsal and reception afterparty.
- The land was beautiful and serene.
- So many people got to stay on site.
- Had everything we could have needed.

Incredible venue! Our daughter was married at LBV recently and it was spectacular!! One of the best selling points for this venue is that you are the only wedding for that weekend. Carroll and Erika were wonderful to work with and allowed us to bring in some of the items we were providing for the wedding on the Thursday before. I can honestly say I don’t know how we could have gotten it all together the morning of the wedding if we had chosen another venue. Having the extra time to set up was a godsend.
La Bonne Vie has it all – chapel, lodging, reception barn and open air pavilion for cocktail hour. Everyone loved the convenience of being able to stay at the venue. The lodge offers 14 rooms with a game room and patio upstairs to relax and visit. Downstairs has a full kitchen as well as an ADA suite. The accommodations are simply first class. Just down the road on the ranch, there are 7 cabins available for rent. Our daughter rented the homestead for the bridal party the night before. She and her bridesmaids were able to sleep comfortably the night before and wake up for hair and makeup on site in the lavish bridal suite. The homestead became the honeymoon suite the night of the wedding.
The reception barn is amazing! Full kitchen on one side, bar on the other. Tons of space for all your guests. The reception barn also has a bridal suite downstairs and groom’s suite upstairs. Many items were provided by the venue as part of the contract, but they also have a lovely collection of items for rent at very reasonable rates.
We are so happy our daughter and son-in-law chose La Bonne Vie Ranch for their wedding!!

The attention to details made us feel special and everything from the beds to the soap to fresh linens were amazing. We attended a wedding here back in February. It just so happened while we were there the day of the wedding it snowed and it froze over. Mrs. Caroll took awesome care of us while we were there. Everything we needed was made available to us! The cabins were really nice with a great comfortable mattress! This venue is just beautiful!

BOOK THIS VENUE NOW! You will not regret it! La Bonne Vie was everything we dreamed of and so much more! My husband and I got married last month and had our close friends and family stay at La Bonne Vie in the lodge and cabins that weekend and every guest told us they felt like they were on vacation! Carol and Justine were the best hosts- checked on us when we arrived the Thursday before and made sure all the vendors knew where to set up for the rehearsal dinner and wedding! Any request we had, they made it happen! Every bride talks about things going wrong with venues the day of their wedding but let me tell you, it was perfect!! They even drove us to different parts of the property when we took wedding party pictures and family portraits in their golf cart! There are so many amazing spaces and things to do at the venue, we did the rehearsal dinner, spent the morning of the wedding there, as well as a brunch Sunday morning and no spot was repeated! Our pups even stayed with us on site in their air conditioned kennels! And don’t even get me started on how beautiful the homestead is! My bridesmaids and I got ready there the morning of the wedding and when we left for our ceremony and reception, It was turned into an amazing honeymoon sweet!! And the cool cars they have on the property...they let us take our engagement pics and my bridal portraits with them! And one of them was our getaway car at the end of the night! Truly spectacular!! Our wedding weekend was magical (to say the least)! One we will never forget thanks to La Bonne a Vie! I am hoping that every year from now on we will rent a cabin at La Bonne a Vie to celebrate our wedding anniversaries!

Booking this venue was one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire planning process. I was so blown away by the beauty and details of each of the structures they have on property. So much thought went into making the most perfect wedding venue. Being able to rent the property for the entire weekend was such a unique aspect that I didn’t find with any of the other venues we looked at and it really makes a difference to have everything in one place come wedding weekend. I got so many compliments from my guests about how gorgeous the place is and what a beautiful wedding it was. I can’t thank Carroll (owner and venue coordinator) and her family enough for providing above and beyond service throughout the planning process and the weekend of the wedding. They were so easy to work with, accommodated any special requests and just handled so many behind the scene jobs that came up during the wedding weekend. They are very responsive and were helpful with any questions that came up. It was such a perfect weekend and I wish it had never ended!! If you are considering having a wedding here ABSOLUTELY do it! And book all the spaces they are all wonderful!!

Let’s start by saying that the place itself is beautiful.
Every little detail is well thought of and everything is clean on the property. We’d say 90%+ of our guests noticed and complimented that.
The property has lodging, which was a huge plus for us because we have a BIG family. Everybody was able to stay on the premises for the weekend and that made it super fun for everyone.
Carrol and Erika are amazing too. They were always there to help and made us feel at home. What a wonderful feeling to have on your wedding weekend, right?
If we could put it in a few words… imagine yourself booking a night in a very luxurious hotel; that’s what you and your guests get at La Bonne Vie Ranch.
We were dreaming of a Fairy Tale wedding and La Bonne Vie Ranch made it possible.

We were supposed to have a wedding on February 3rd and an ice storm caused all our guests and vendors to cancel. We were freaking out the morning of and Carroll was literally the best. She allowed us to reschedule until Saturday AND allowed our guests who were staying in the cabins and lodge to stay for free until Sunday. I have never felt so taken care of by a business. Everything is so beautiful and the furniture throughout the ranch is of the best quality. Carroll is so hands on and welcoming. If you’re looking for a perfect wedding venue or family getaway this ranch is it. If they weren’t so booked we would definitely rebook for a girls night! Thank you to the Jones’ family and their amazing hospitality.
